磁彫

《磁彫》は磁土を材料とした彫刻作品 。小学校の6年間、仏師の元で仏像彫刻を習っていた上出にとって、ものを作ることの原点に立ち返った制作となった。モチーフはその時手元にあったものを選んでいる。

Porcelain Sculpture

The sculpture "Porcelain Sculpture" is made of porcelain clay. Ueide studied Buddhist sculpture under a Buddhist master for six years in primary school, and this work marks a return to his origins in the art of making things. The motifs were chosen from what was at hand at the time.
